Was Proverbs 31 Changed to Obscure Goddess Reference?
You might want to have a look at this video, which Yonah ben-Ashera calls "conjectural," concerning the possibility (probability?) that Proverbs 31:28 was changed in Hebrew to obscure the fact that the Goddess Asherah (Athirat) was being referred to, particularly in the passage, "Her children shall rise up and call her blessed." In addition to transliterations of Hebrew, the original Hebrew text and Ugaritic are shown in the video. Yonah follows the video with supporting text, including the work of Rabbi Jill Hammer.
